For economic reasons alone, many people are moving from Pennsylvania to Florida. Florida is especially suited to retirees since it doesn’t collect state income tax or death tax. Pennsylvania, like many other U.S. states collects both types of tax.

Florida has been a magnet for retirees for decades. As individuals reach retirement age and want to find ways to live for less money, the state of Florida has some appeal.
