Regan’s Journey to the Top
Regan Smith first made waves in the swimming world as a 17-year-old when she set a new World Record of 2:03.35 in the 200m backstroke at the 2019 World Championships in Gwangju. She continued to dominate with a World Record performance in the 4x100m relay, where Team USA took home gold.
Her accomplishments didn’t stop there. At the Tokyo 2020 Olympics, Regan won a silver medal in the 200m butterfly and a bronze medal in the 100m backstroke. Despite facing tough competition and the challenge of seeing her world record broken, Regan came roaring back in 2022, reclaiming her position at the top with a victory in the 100m backstroke at the World Championships.
Now, after her triumphant return in Paris with two gold medals, Regan is settling into her new home in Austin, and we couldn’t be more thrilled to have been part of the process.
